We provide Reiki training from beginner (Shoden) to teacher (Shihan-kaku) level in the traditional Japanese style of the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui. This Reiki training is known as Usui Reiki Ryoho. We believe in sticking as closely as possible to the original teachings, to retain the integrity and efficacy of the system with the added benefits of my Active Reiki Method to maximise the healing effects of any Reiki treatment. Our London Reiki training is comprehensive, fun, educational and conform to current best practice as defined by National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Reiki.
1. In-person at your home as a private one to one course.
2. Online live and in real-time video meeting either on our scheduled monthly courses or as private one to one on dates to suit you.
On our Reiki courses you will receive the traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho Denju initiation attunements during the course, whether you choose the in-person or the online format. For the online format, we use the traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho distant connection method to connect to the student, then we carry out the appropriate Denju in exactly the same way as in-person - in both instances the effects for the student are the same as are the outcomes.
Our Professional Practitioner Reiki courses are assessed by observed treatments, written assessment and case studies. On completion of the online Professional Practioner course you will be able to join the International Guild of Complementary Therapists (IGCT) and the in-person course you will be able to join the Reiki Guild. In both cases you can obtain insurance and work professionally once you have become a member.
The Active Reiki Method is the name of my way of working with Reiki to maximise the healing effects of Reiki treatments. I have over the years of practicing Reiki developed and refined this method to improve healing outcomes. I use a combination of the Reiki energy at the appropriate frequency for the condition being treated with a focused intention and visualisation along with controlled breathing throughout the treatment.
